Governor Brown Book Scholarship

​The Annual Governor Brown Book Scholarship honors the legacy of Governor Brown, affectionately known as Pa-Pa to three Franklinton High School Alumni and track athletes, Shelby, Olivia and Michael Miles Brown.  A revered figure in the Windsor Connecticut community, a distinguished veteran, accomplished machinist, and avid sportsman, Governor Brown left an indelible mark through his service to his country and community. This scholarship, awarded to a deserving boy who participates on the Franklinton High School Track Team, celebrates Governor Brown's commitment to education, athletics, and community involvement.  Congratulations to the recipients of this meaningful award and may they carry the Brown’s spirit of kindness and dedication with them as they pursue their education.
